I am often asked if you need to be experienced to get started and the answer is no. If you are prepared to start at the bottom, develop and sit for qualifications such as the NAEA, CeMAP or RICS, then property is a great industry for developing an exciting and changing career.

However, whether you want to be an Estate Agent, a Chartered Surveyor, a Financial Consultant or a Branch Manager, people skills are essential. Moving house and securing a mortgage probably rank among some of the most stressful life events and we need to assist our customers through some traumatic times. our people and organisational skills are key.
